This piece by Caroline Duwyenie is made from Hopi clay. It is a seedpot that is perfectly balanced and with a low center that keeps it sitting straight. The piece has three painted stars and it was traditionally fired. There is a single silver star that was added after the firing. The piece is signed, “Caroline Duwyenie”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair. Caroline was married to Preston Duwyenie in the 1990s and no longer makes pottery.
