Description A traditional moulded protective cup for baseball, softball, and cricket players. Solid PVC construction with bound edges and a comfortable fit in four sizes, from junior to adult. Basic, reliable, and does exactly what it needs to do. HART Protective Cup The HART Protective Cup is a traditional hard cup designed to be worn inside a jockstrap or compression shorts during training and games. The PVC moulded shell provides solid impact protection, and the bound edges keep the cup comfortable and in place across a full game or training session. A protective cup is required equipment for male players in most baseball and softball competitions, particularly for catchers and infielders who face a higher risk of ball contact. If you’re putting together a first kit for a junior player, this is a non-negotiable addition. Available in four sizes to suit players from young juniors through to adults. Use the size guide below to find the right fit. If you’re unsure, come into our Smeaton Grange or Rouse Hill stores and we’ll help you find the right size. For a complete protective setup, browse our full protective gear range including batting helmets, catcher’s gear, and more. Size Guide: Extra Small: suited to younger junior players Small: suited to older juniors Medium: suited to most adult players Large: suited to larger adult players Specifications: PVC moulded cup construction Bound edges for comfort Available in Extra Small, Small, Medium, and Large Worn inside jockstrap or compression shorts (not included) Suitable for baseball and softball RBI’s Take This is the cup we point parents toward when they’re putting together a starter kit for a new player and aren’t sure what to buy. It works equally well for baseball, softball, and cricket, and the price makes it an easy decision regardless of which sport your kid is playing. One thing worth noting for parents of junior players: a lot of kids play their first few seasons without one and then have a painful experience that makes them wish they hadn’t. Get it early and make it a habit. For catchers, especially, this is not optional equipment. The cup is worn inside a jockstrap or compression shorts, which are sold separately. If you need a full first-time setup, send us a message on Facebook, and we’ll help you work out everything you need.
