Clayton Harris

Owner

Clayton Harris is the new owner of Creative Costuming and Designs and is honored to continue the legacy established by Kevin and Noreen Roberts, who built the company into one of the leaders of costuming for the marching arts for over 30 years. With a deep respect for their contributions, Clayton is committed to maintaining and expanding CCD’s reputation for excellence in design, quality, and service.

In addition to leading the CCD team, Clayton is also the owner, head designer, and drill writer for Marching365, LLC. With over 20 years of experience as a professional marching show designer, program coordinator, and drill writer, he has created more than 400 productions. His extensive background in the marching arts—spanning roles as a performer, director, designer, coordinator, clinician, and adjudicator since 1992—provides him with the expertise to make informed, strategic decisions that serve a wide range of program sizes, abilities, and purposes. This experience allows Clayton to ensure that Creative Costuming and Designs continues to provide innovative, high-quality costuming solutions tailored to the needs of performers and programs at every level.

At Creative Costuming and Designs, Clayton’s goal is to honor the company’s legacy while propelling it into the future, ensuring that every client receives the highest level of craftsmanship, creativity, and personalized service. Christine Tetzlaff

Business Manager

Christine is our Business Manager and has spent most of her life involved with the marching arts world. Starting color guard at age 9 in Canada and by 16 becoming a member of the Garfield Cadets. Christine spent 18 years with the Cadets from teaching the guard to the Operations Director of YEA! After leaving YEA! she made her way to California and made her way back to the pageantry world in a much different capacity. When she is not busy at CCD making sure clients orders are going from point A to Z, she is spending time with her husband Joel, of 15 years and their two beautiful children, Seth and Sydney and two dogs Scooter and Scout.

Chad Kholmier

Director of Client Services

As the Director of Design and Client Services, Chad oversees the designers and pattern makers and sewing department. He also coordinates and assists in client issues and concerns. When not making dreams come true at CCD, he can be found judging colorguard and visual on the field, along with the movement caption in winterguard around the country. He lives in Long Beach with his partner of 25 years and their 5 dogs. In his younger days, Chad performed in world class drum corps, winterguard, and danced with a modern dance company. He has also taught dance and musical theater all over Northern and Southern California.

Ericka Angiuli

Lead Designer

Ericka, our Lead Designer and Trainer, has a BFA in Fashion Design with an emphasis in Costume Design. When she’s not helping you bring your costumes to life, she can be found making her own designs and competing in Fashion Shows and Costume Contests throughout Southern California. In her spare time, she loves creating and cooking, traveling, conventions, Disneyland, and especially loves a good concert. She has three fur children Luna, Daisy, and Hans.

Marva Rosas

Senior Designer

Marva is our Senior Designer and has been with CCD for 7 ½ years. She has a BFA in Fashion Design and has been featured in OCFW and LAFW. She is originally from Istanbul, Türkiye but considers Las Vegas her favorite place in the world. When she’s not designing she can be found singing, dancing, and acting in various showcases. She cannot live without the color yellow.

Ashley Porter

Designer

Ashley has been a designer with CCD for 9 years. When she’s not making your costume dreams come true, she can be found teaching color guard or watching sports. Some of her favorite DCI/WGI shows include, Cavaliers ’06, Blue Devils ’03, and Fantasia ’08. In her spare time, she loves to relax at Disneyland or catch a beautiful wine country sunset with her husband and 2 sons.

Kaho Akiya

Designer

Kaho has been a designer with CCD for 2 years. Kaho has a BFA in Illustration from CSU Long Beach. She has been involved in the marching arts for the last 17 years, starting as a 6th grader at Palm Desert Charter Middle School and going on to march at Palm Desert High School and Diamante Open in 2016. She has taught at many groups including Westminster HS, Edison HS, and Instinct Percussion. When she is not designing costumes, Kaho can be found teaching, DIY-ing, doing her nails, walking around Disneyland, or hanging out with her fiance and their cat + two bearded dragons.

Amanda Pagett

Designer

Amanda, our newest designer, has been involved in the color guard community for the last 15 years. She has had the pleasure of teaching at Westminster HS, Mater Dei HS, Gahr HS, and Chino Hills HS. She also marched at Los Alamitos HS and Fantasia Winterguard. In her spare time, she loves attending K-Pop concerts, going to Disneyland, and spending time with her husband, son, and 3 kitties.
